A lot of people join an affiliate program, get the promotional tools in their dashboard, and get stuck on day one without knowing where to start.

The doubt is usually always the same. Do I promote the link or share the coupon? And if someone clicks the link but uses another affiliate’s code, who gets the sale?

These questions seem like details, except they determine whether your promotional work turns into commission or gets lost without you understanding why.

In this article you’ll see how each tool works at Futury Club, which one pays more on each channel, how the sale gets attributed, and how long the money takes to reach your account.

What changes between promoting by link and promoting by coupon

Futury Club is the partnership program from Futury, the company behind brands such as:

  • • Bye Bad;
  • • Reviv;
  • • Luminus.

Anyone who joins gets, right on day one, two promotional tools unlocked in the dashboard: an exclusive link and a personal coupon code.

At first glance they seem to do the same thing, since both generate commission on the sale. The difference lies in how each one records that the sale was yours.

The link records the sale from the click, without requiring anything from the customer. The coupon depends on a manual action, but creates a bond that doesn’t get lost.

How the promotional link works

The link is a unique address generated for your account. When someone clicks it and goes to the store, that person’s purchases become associated with you.

The practical advantage is zero friction. The customer doesn’t need to type anything or remember any code for the sale to count toward you.

On the other hand, the record can be replaced if the person clicks another link before completing the purchase, since the last one accessed always takes precedence.

That’s why the link works best in high-volume contexts, where a lot of people see it and few talk to you individually.

The 30-day window after the click

This is the most underrated point of the tool. The link isn’t valid only for the immediate purchase.

After the click, everything that person buys within 30 days counts as your sale, even if they return to the store days later.

In practice, this means promotion done today can keep generating commission weeks later, with no extra effort on your part.

Keep in mind that if there’s more than one click in the period, the record considers the last link accessed before the purchase.

Where the link pays off most

Profile bio, Stories with a link sticker, and message groups are the natural environments for this tool.

These are spaces where the person is browsing quickly, without patience to write down a code, and a single click handles everything.

Short-video content also works well, since the link stays fixed on the profile while the video circulates.

The logic here is simple: the more impersonal and scalable the channel, the more the link makes sense.

How the exclusive coupon works

The coupon is a personal, non-transferable code linked directly to your affiliate account.

The customer types this code when checking out, and the sale gets recorded under your name.

The big difference is security. Under the program’s rule, if the customer used your coupon, the sale is yours, no exceptions, with no room for dispute.

That makes it the more reliable of the two tools, especially for those who sell by talking to people directly.

The 5% discount for the customer

The coupon carries a benefit the link doesn’t offer. Anyone who uses the code gets a 5% discount on the purchase.

This detail shifts the conversation. Instead of asking someone to buy through your link, you’re offering them a real advantage.

It’s a simple benefit to communicate and it helps push undecided people toward a decision.

That’s why it’s worth using the coupon as your opening argument, not as a footnote at the end of the message.

Where the coupon pays off most

One-on-one conversations, message-based customer service, and in-person sales are the areas where the coupon shines.

In a salon, a physical store, or a small group where you already have trust, the code tends to work better than the link.

It also solves situations where sharing a link isn’t practical, like a referral made in person or over the phone.

The closer the relationship with the customer, the more the coupon pays off.

Who gets the sale when link and coupon overlap

This is the question that causes the most confusion among affiliates, and the program’s rule is straightforward.

The coupon always takes priority over the link. If the customer typed your code at checkout, the sale is yours, regardless of which link they clicked before.

When there’s no coupon and the person clicked more than one link, the last one clicked within the validity window applies.

Understanding this hierarchy avoids frustration and helps you choose the right tool when you know the customer moves across several channels.

How much you earn per sale

The commission percentage depends on the tax regime you’re registered under, not on which tool is used.

Situation Individual Business Entity
Sale via link 15%20%
Sale via coupon 15% + 5% discount for the customer 20% + 5% discount for the customer

Important notice: This article is for informational purposes only and was produced based on materials published by Futury and public reporting on the program’s launch. Futury Club is not a job opening and does not create an employment relationship. Enrollment requires payment of an annual subscription, and earnings vary depending on each participant’s performance, with no guarantee of return. Amounts, percentages, deadlines, and rules may be changed by the company at any time. Before signing up, check the updated terms on the official website and read the Terms of Enrollment.

Notice that the commission percentage is the same for both tools, so choosing between them is more of a strategic decision than a financial one.

Migrating to a Business Entity raises the commission, but requires a company registration number and is permanent, with no possibility of returning to the previous regime.

Why commission doesn’t increase as you level up

The club’s career plan has five tiers, from Crystal to Diamond, reached by accumulating points.

Someone just starting out might assume leveling up means higher commission, but that’s not how it works. The percentage stays the same from the first level to the last.

What evolves is access. The Sapphire level unlocks exclusive campaigns and early product launches, while the top tier grants the right to develop your own brand.

Knowing this from the start helps set realistic expectations and focus on what actually drives earnings here, which is sales volume.

From click to Pix, how the money matures

Commission isn’t available for withdrawal the moment the sale happens. It goes through a cycle before becoming money in your account.

The amount first enters as a blocked balance for ten days, a period that covers cancellations and returns. It then matures and enters the monthly settlement queue.

Payout happens via Pix between the 3rd and 5th of the following month, automatically. From sale to available money, the average cycle runs between 25 and 35 days.

Under the Individual regime there’s a cap of R$1,000 per month. The excess accumulates and is only released upon migration to a Business Entity.

What you can’t do when promoting

The program’s communication rules are strict, and not knowing them is costly.

It’s not allowed to promise cure, treatment, or prevention of disease, nor to guarantee any kind of result. Promising a cure, in fact, is prohibited by ANVISA.

The coupon is personal and non-transferable. Selling it, lending it, or passing it on for someone else to use is among the most serious violations, which can lead to removal from the program.

It’s also mandatory to identify ads as advertising and to flag when content was created with artificial intelligence. The system applies warnings, suspension, and even removal depending on the severity.

Common mistakes beginners make when promoting

The first is expecting an immediate return. With the maturation cycle, the first commission takes a few weeks to become available balance.

The second is using the same tool on every channel. Spreading the coupon where nobody talks to you, or the link where sales happen in person, wastes effort.

The third is promoting to a cold list. Mass messages to unrelated contacts tend to be annoying and can lead to blocks.

The fourth is not testing. It’s worth watching the dashboard for a few weeks and observing which tool converts better on your channel before settling into a routine.

Conclusion

Link and coupon pay the same percentage, so choosing between them is always a matter of context and channel.

The link pays off in high-volume environments and carries a 30-day window, while the coupon guarantees the sale and gives the customer a discount.

In a conflict between the two, the coupon always wins, and understanding this rule prevents losing commission by carelessness.

The money follows its own maturation cycle, which calls for patience in the first weeks of promotion.
